The Gujarat International Finance TecCity (GIFT) is a landmark project that is an attempt to harness the growth and ambition of India, and direct it into a concentrated urban setting that will act as the focal point for the future development of our country. Benchmarked against the best financial centers across the world, GIFT has been planned to provide world-class infrastructure facilities to businesses, all with the aim of minimizing their costs of operations, and providing them with the best-in-class services that have never been made available in India. It aims to become a hub for financial services in the country.

Planned on 500 acres of land near Ahmedabad, GIFT will have 104 million sq. ft. of built up area, largely dedicated towards offices (~48 mn. Sq.ft.), in a concentrated high-rise setting that will be visually stunning as well as efficient and convenient to live in. The project is in its final pre-construction stages, and work on the ground is expected to begin in the first half of 2008.

Fairwood has been a key part of the project since its conception, helping to shape the vision for GIFT and have been retained to provide End-to-End services for the entire development. We are the lead firm in a consortium with our Chinese partners, ECADI, for the design of the project.
